About me
I live in Auckland with my partner and my cat in the greenskeepers flat at a Lawn Bowls Club. Most days I walk up Mt Eden, read, and sometimes I bowl.
I graduated in 2005 with a BFA, that was the conclusion of four years of study and experimentation and good friends, some of whom I have the pleasure of continuing to work with now. Prior to studying I worked in the digital print industry as a mac operator.

The rest of the time I make things, I crochet and knit and occasionally weave. There are always things growing in pots and a small garden plot, flowers, veges and especially herbs.
One of the most exciting things that I am involved in is the Conchology Section of the Auckland Museum Institute. This is a great organisation, we meet once a month in Epsom to enjoy presentations and sometimes informal talks by scientists and other members of the institute.

I work as a projectionist at a local independent cinema that screens festival, foreign, arthouse films and the occasional Hollywood blockbuster. This is good, we make great coffee, I can see movies for free and it’s the best cinema in town… I also teach primary school groups at the Auckland Art Gallery one or two mornings a week, this is also good, I get to work with children and some of Aotearoa’s best works of art.
I usually am working on a number of other fun projects that I go on about on this blog, and if it’s a biggie, I give it it’s own page in the projects section of this site…
