Hydroid research

Hydroids are freaky, they are actually colonies of polyps (animals that are cylindrical in form and are attached to a substrate at one end and have a mouth at the other) that are growing on a common stalk, from time to time these polyps break free from the main ‘plant’ and begin to grow their own colony.
