I’ll miss this view…
This looks like a great event, at 11am and 2pm on the 22nd and 23rd of this month there will be an opportunity to see fashion from 1920s-40s. The parade includes garments from private collections, and is to be held in the Winter Garden at the lovely Civic Theatre, so not to be missed!

Recently I read about this nifty little outfit called Juniper Handcraft Gallery in Wellington, and well I just might make an effort to visit the windy city to check them out! (Wellington is cool, it’s just so far away these days..)
The gallery is located at 114 Riddiford Street, Newtown, here is a link to their blog.
Above is a pic borrowed from their website… (so you can see how cool their stuff is - sorry I do not know the artist… but will try and find out).
Next week, well Tuesday, I will have work in an exhibition all the way out at Uxbridge.
1,2 3 Exhibition
Works exhibited are 100×100, 200×200 and 300×300. I have work in each category, so go and check it out if you can! The exhibition is open from 22 August to 6 September, gallery hours are Mon - Fri 10 - 4, Sat 10.30 - 3.
35 Uxbridge Road, Howick, Auckland.
It’s on again, this Wednesday (tomorrow!) at St Paul Street Gallery, AUT 6 - 8.30 pm.
So go on then!
At Artis Gallery in Parnell, opening night preveiw, 5:30 – 7:30 pm Tuesday 1 May 2007.
The exhibition remains in the gallery until the 27 May 2007.

Matthew was one of my tutors while I was at Whitecliffe, and this looks like another good painting exhibition… There is a write up on this show in the Herald by the way.
